Brand Mentor started as one counsellor helping cousins pick between an Anna University seat and a management-quota B.Tech offer. The advice was simple: read the fee-committee circular, understand the refund rules, ignore the ranking noise, and pick the college that fits the student — not the family WhatsApp group.

A few admission cycles later, we had grown into a small team working with families across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala — across both Engineering (TNEA, KCET, COMEDK, KEAM, JEE Main) and Nursing (NEET UG, TN DME, KEA, LBS). We still answer our own WhatsApp, and we still write out the plan on paper.

We are an independent consultancy — we are not paid by any college to send them students. Our recommendations follow the student's target course, budget, domicile and merit, in that order.
